Part-time 27 hours per week

Grade PO1 - £31,895 to £34,373 pro rata

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Adult Social Care, recently rated exceptional by our peers. Occupational Therapy in Telford delivers services in our new Independent Living Centre, offers single handed care and support for family carers as well as recommendations for equipment and adaptations. You will find the team warm and supportive and the work rewarding. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join us in our Occupational Therapy Team. 

 

This role will include a range of duties; the primary focus is to review how care is currently provided. Adopting the principles of single handed care is a key part of this role. Specific training will be provided for the appointed candidate but some experience of moving and handling is ideal. Other tasks will include delivering our Prevention duties as identified in the Care Act. Candidates must be a qualified Occupational Therapist and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to their own professional development.
