An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Assessment and Independence Team for a full-time Care Manager.  We invite you to be part of a forward thinking, dynamic team, which actively supports staff, and works to change people’s lives for the better.

Post:          Care Manager

Hours:        37 per week

Salary:       Grade 9

Location:   Tiled House, 200 Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, Dudley DY5 4LE.

We are looking for a focused and target-driven individual with experience in Adult Social Care to join our management team.  You will manage a seven-day service working within assessment and provision.   Level 4 or NVQ 3/4 in Management is desirable.

You will be expected to work alongside the registered manager following DMBC policies and procedures and working in compliance with CQC standards. Manage and take the lead role within the team in the planning of person-centred, outcome-focused care programmes for people who use our service.

You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of staff through supervision to ensure that all standards of professional practice are achieved. An approach which is responsive to the needs of the service and to development opportunities is essential.

You will need to cover an on-call rota which will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays for which relevant enhancements will be paid.

You may need to work flexibly, travelling across the Dudley borough so you will need to hold a valid full driving licence and have the use of a vehicle.
