A vacancy for a Senior Social Worker has arisen for an Autism Lead for the Peoples Directorate. This is a full-time post. Shropshire Council has a flexible working policy. This post is focused on the development of improved opportunities, timely access to services for autistic individuals and their support network where appropriate. You will need to have enthusiasm and creativity to optimise the scope of this role. You will be working in partnership to create best opportunities in localities in Shropshire, enhancing the service already provided with expertise in understanding the needs of autistic individuals to effectively advocate in various forums across services. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to develop our service, keeping service users and carers at the core of everything we do.
