Finance Manager(s)

Grade 8 – £45,648 - £49,702 per annum (pay award pending)

Permanent - full time, 37 hours per week. Part time working / job share for some of the Finance Manager positions may be considered.

Flexible work style: Hybrid Working – Working at home and the Civic Centre or any other suitable location.

We have a number of exciting opportunities available to be part of our expanding finance team at Finance Manager level within the Strategic Finance service. Some of the areas of responsibility available include Education, Capital Projects and Service Accounting where individuals with a demonstrated history in these areas would be advantageous.

 

We pride ourselves on being a supportive finance function that delivers a high standard of professional financial advice across the organisation by making strong relationships with budget managers and being part of the exciting improvements this city is making.

 

About You

As finance manager you will be responsible for managing a team, reporting to a Finance Business Partner.

 

You will be a qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA), ideally with public sector experience, with the drive, determination and enthusiasm to deliver a high quality service for those you will support in trying to achieve the aims of the city.

 

You will have post qualification experience of supporting leadership teams, developing and maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders and producing high quality reports for management information and decision making.

 

Other desirable attributes include experience of working at a senior level on multidisciplinary teams such as on transformational projects and programmes, as well as experience of grant funding.
