About Us and The Role

  

Bedworth & North Warwickshire Children's Safeguarding Team are looking for enthusiastic and motivated social workers to join our team. We are a case management/long-term team where social workers have caseloads of Child In Need, Child Protection, Children in Care, care proceedings and adoption. 

  

You will be joining a busy and fast paced team but one with a very supportive and cohesive team culture where the ethos is on child focused work aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing life experiences for children and young people. We adopt a positive, can do and problem-solving approach to our work based on the restorative practice model; we set ourselves high standards and are always keen to improve upon our best. 

  

We have a strong, motivated and supportive management group who work hard and to high standards; We have a clear career pathway and a commitment to on-going learning and training and to supporting all staff to develop and to be the best that they can be.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
