Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Autism Specialist)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours:   37 hrs per week, 39.2 working weeks per year

(08:00 – 16:00, Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 15:30 on Friday)

Pay:  Grade 6 (SCP 9-15)

Full-time equivalent salary: £21,269 - £23,953 per annum

Actual pro-rata salary based on SCP 9 £18,389 per annum    

(based on under 5 years’ service / 45.08 paid weeks)

Line Manager:          SENDCO

 

Chase Terrace Academy is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to specialise in supporting the inclusion of our autistic children and young people.

 

You will work closely with children, their families, teachers, the Pastoral Team, the Learning Support Team and the Autism Outreach Team to support autistic learners, both in and out of the classroom.  As our Teaching Assistant specialising in autism, your role will be vital in facilitating and promoting the wellbeing and academic progress of our autistic learners.
