We are looking for a candidate who can work alongside inclusion colleagues across our Network of schools, and someone who can monitor the cohort successfully to increase the chances of success, providing (or sourcing) exceptional Early Help and effective support for vulnerable children and their families. The successful candidate will monitor the students that are involved in managed moves across the network. Monitoring key performance data, attending associated meetings and ensure that any support is timely and impactful for the child and the family. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills to support children and their families to overcome significant barriers to learning including the initiation and coordination of wrap around services to support children and their families and will assist the network Inclusion Lead to allocate resources effectively. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with:

· qualified Social Worker status or experience of a similar role in an educational setting

· experience of working in a fast-paced role, overseeing a multiple caseload

· excellent prioritisation skills and ability to manage a busy workload

· high standards of written and verbal communication, commensurate to a professional environment

· meticulous attention to detail and record keeping

· a proactive attitude and determination, including research and reading to enhance own and others’ knowledge and skills

· a driving ambition to make a difference to every child and family.

You will be primarily based at King’s Norton Boys’ School where each and every staff member at our school is united in their focus on continuous improvement and we work collaboratively to support one another across the school as a whole. The culture that 'we are all learners' exists throughout the school. The role would require you to work across schools within our Network.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
