Greswold Primary School has a responsibility for, and a commitment to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and requires all staff share this commitment.

Due to the popularity of our setting and increased numbers we are seeking to employ Relief / Casual Child Care Play Workers for Greswold Greyhounds, our childcare facility within Greswold Primary School.

The Relief / Casual Play Worker position will cover planned absences, staff illness and ratio requirements, across a variety of time sessions, between the hours of 7.45am – 8.45am for before school club and 3pm – 5.45pm for after school club, during term time.

There may also be daytime sessions available from 8.30 am – 3.30 pm as well as the opportunity to work INSET days and holiday play schemes. 

The successful candidates will be hard working individuals who enjoy working with children and other adults and are committed to ensuring a safe and caring environment, where our children enjoy learning and playing.

Candidates must have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in childcare or equivalent.
Candidates with a level 2 qualification will be paid on band A, currently £10.83 per hour to £11.16 per hour. 
Candidates with a level 3 qualification will be on band B, currently £11.16 per hour to £11.61 per hour.
Starting salary will be dependent upon qualification and experience.
