Housing Services is the landlord for the Council’s owned properties and offers a range of services to tenants and leaseholders.

Hours: 37 per week

salary: Grade 6 

Housing Services includes an in-house maintenance team that delivers a range of repairs and planned improvements to homes throughout the borough, ensuring that homes remain safe, comfortable and energy efficient. The team also undertakes a range of maintenance services to the Council’s other built assets and traded services sites.

The post holder will assist in providing a professional customer focused planning service within the Housing Maintenance Responsive Repairs Teams. Their key focus will be to programme and deploy a responsive workforce to ensure reactive repairs are scheduled and completed within relevant service standards and that appointments are made and kept, ensuring wherever possible that works are completed in line with the right first time philosophy.
