The Quality Assurance and Improvement Service is seeking to appoint a Policy, Procedure & Protocol Officer to lead for Children’s Services reporting to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer.

This is an exciting new opportunity for the successful candidate to lead on producing clear and concise, user friendly policies and procedures for the whole of Children’s Services.

The successful applicant will uphold Council behaviours to help support the improvement journey in line with the Councils plans. The successful applicant will be integral in ensuring that we are delivering the best possible outcomes for children and young people in the City.

You will have key skills in organisation, collation of information, be able to use a variety of methods to communicate with internal council professionals and partner agencies and service users to ensure policies and procedures are fit for purpose. You will also have the ability to use different methods to present policies and procedures to ensure staff and services users (where appropriate) are clear on processes and pathways. You will be able to use Microsoft applications in a variety of ways to present pathways and processes.
