The Role Cleaner

We are looking to appoint a cleaner to join our highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking cleaning team.  

You will work 12.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. (6.00am - 8.30am or 3.30pm - 6.00pm) your working pattern can be discussed at interview stage, working 52 weeks of the year. You will receive an annual holiday entitlement and you will be required to take your holidays during school holidays.

This is a temporary contract linked to a period of maternity leave and will end when the substantive post holder returns.

The successful candidate will be motivated, hardworking and reliable. Training will be provided however, previous cleaning experience would be advantageous. 

Your actual salary will be £6,193 per annum.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Are you looking for a job with good holidays to give you a healthy work – life balance then this could be the job for you!  

You will work term time only, meaning you will have ALL the school holidays off totalling 13 weeks to enjoy life! 

We are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Lapal Primary School. You will be responsible for the safe supervision and welfare of our pupils during the lunchtime period. We expect our Lunchtime Supervisors to have a positive attitude to the security and safety of our children, to follow verbal instructions, and communicate effectively with other staff and pupils in school. You will need to be patient, flexible and firm, as well as being able to treat children fairly.

You will be appointed on Grade 2, Working 6.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year. Actual salary range £2593 to £2,619 per annum.

You will already have:

  • Experience of working with children The ability to communicate with children at varying levels of understanding and age.

You will be:

  • Willing to undergo appropriate training when required, and be willing to work with/supervise children indoors and out.
