Job Details
Due to the promotion of existing staff, we are seeking to appoint a Senior Supervisory Assistant for lunchtimes. Our friendly team of supervisory assistants plays a key role in maintaining the safety and welfare of our children during lunchtimes.
Work pattern 12.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 39 weeks (term time only plus 5 training days)
You will be responsible for managing the team of supervisory assistants to ensure that our pupils enjoy a positive, sociable and safe lunchtime. You will be expected to model and act as an exemplar practitioner in order to support the supervisory assistants in their duties, including assisting with the supervision and leading play activities with pupils during the lunchtime, as well as undertaking general cleaning duties. You must be willing to undertake basic first aid training.
You will need to be reliable and dedicated, have an interest in working with children and be an excellent role model for our pupils by demonstrating qualities of compassion, trustworthiness and politeness.
