Archaeological Project Officer

37.0 Hours per Week
We are looking for skilled, motivated, and mobile archaeologists with significant experience in a wide range of British archaeology to lead on fieldwork projects, and undertake post-excavation, report writing and archiving, to the appropriate CIfA standards.
Degree in Archaeology or equivalent qualification.
Considerable experience of a range of field and post-excavation projects at a supervisory level including sole or major responsibility for specific areas of projects.
Good general knowledge of British Archaeology.
Excellent written communication skills, including ability to write clear reports.
Ability to present the work of the group to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Ability to manage own work, and that of others, to meet agreed programmes and budgets.
Ability to travel effectively throughout the County.
A flexible approach to working arrangements and a positive attitude to change.
