Washwood Heath Nursery & Children’s Centre, 201 Sladefield Road,

Ward End, Birmingham, B8 2SY

Fixed Term: May 2017 – August 2018

Hours: 35.5 hours per week, term time only.

We have 4 posts for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work in our Nursery School at our new Clover Lea site. We are a busy Nursery School and Children’s Centre serving families in the Washwood Heath area and will be launching our annex building (Clover Lea on the corner of St Margaret’s Road).

We have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted since 2009 and we are hoping to continue this excellent practice at Clover Lea.

The successful candidates should be committed to working as part of a professional team to ensure that all our children achieve their full potential and also have a good understanding of the EYFS, child development and full commitment to the Every Child Matters agenda.

The successful candidates will be supporting teachers in our busy nursery environment providing cover, being an active part in planning and assessment, as well as working with selected individuals and groups of pupils.

NVQ level 3 qualified is preferred but not essential.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
