The federation of Hanbury' Farm and Oakhill Primary Schools currently educates approximately 300 children aged 4 to 11, across 2 small schools. Both schools are one form entry primary schools with a short distance between them.

The Governors and Executive Headteacher at the Federation of Hanbury’s Farm and Oakhill Primary Schools are seeking to appoint an organised, lively and enthusiastic after school club assistant to help supervise and interact with children after school. The role involves providing appropriate care of children during the after-school club hours, 3:00pm - 5:30pm and contributing to the school's statutory duty to safeguard and protect the welfare of the children.

We are looking for an after-school club assistant who can:

•           Demonstrate a professional and respectful approach to both children and adults.

•           Have good interpersonal skills

•           Be committed to the provision and improvement of quality service provision.

•           Be responsible for ensuring that after school club equipment is hygienically maintained.

•           Promote and safeguard the welfare of children you are responsible for or come into contact with.

•           Support the setting up and clearing away of after school club equipment and preparing meals.

Required as soon as possible

The role is a fixed term, temporary position until 31st March, 2023. 

Monday to Friday 12.5 hours per week 3:00pm to 5:30pm, 38 working weeks. Term time only.

Salary Grade 2, SCP 2-3, £20,441 - £ 20,812 Full time equivalent

Pro rota pay is £5,788 - £5,893 for weeks worked
