We are investing in our Adults’ Social Care Services to support our priorities and in keeping with our responsibilities under the Care Act (2014) and have already undertaken a restructure to align our services.

You will be an accomplished communicator and highly respected Social Work leader or community practitioner skilled at creating a shared vision and culture across all aspects of practice. You will ensure a person-centred, strength based and risk appropriate approach permeates through decision making at all levels

You will be an experienced social work or community health manager or a practitioner with substantial experince and expertise in statutory social work looking to progress into a management role. Your experience will enable you to evidence how you have applied your learning to your practice; and you will have a proven track record of excellent practice that improves outcomes.

You will influence  system-wide cultural change, and work together to achieve a joined-up approach to operational services, creating a clear vison for the future social care workforce  that demonstrates innovative, best practice and serves to inspire colleagues in other parts of the service and partner agencies.
With increasing, complex demand and a challenging financial environment, you will be pivotal in, forming strong and influential relationships across the system to deliver value for money services which manage risk appropriately and improve outcomes

This position will enable you to progress your career as part of an ambitious and creative management team, in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.  Training and support in management and leadership will be provided to the successful candidates.

You must be qualified with a social work degree or equivalent, and will need to be HCPC registered or an equivalent professional body
