Behaviour Specialist

Required for April 17th 2023
Salary: Scale I (17 – 20)
Hours: Full time (32.5 hours per week)

Woodlands School is seeking to appoint a Behaviour Specialist to lead staff in providing a consistently attachment-aware and trauma-informed approach to supporting pupils’ regulation and readiness to learn. 

The Behaviour Specialist is expected to role model a relational and restorative approach to supporting pupils with their behaviour and support staff and families in their understanding of this approach. 
The role will involve direct work with pupils, staff and families, multi-agency work, line managing the learning mentors and supporting the deputy head (pastoral) with recording and reporting, data analysis, resources and documentation. 
Desirable additional responsibilities:
•    Manual Handling Trainer
•    Team Teach Tutor
•    Thrive Specialist Practitioner
•    Hydrotherapy support
•    Rebound Therapy lead
