Saturday Visitor Services Assistant
Heritage & Culture Warwickshire sites include Market Hall Museum, St John's House Museum and
Warwickshire County Record Office, Warwick. We care for and promote access to the extensive museum and archive collections held across our sites together with delivering a varied programme of events and community engagement activities. We also actively promote digital access through our websites and social media channels.
7.0 Hours per Week
There may also be the opportunity to work ad hoc hours on a rota basis.
Fixed term contract for Twelve months.
As a Visitor Assistant you will be the public face of Heritage & Culture Warwickshire. The main
focus of the role will be welcoming visitors to the museum whilst serving in the museum shop and café. There is an agreed dress code whilst on duty.
You will possess excellent communication skills, good levels of numeracy and literacy, good ICT
skills and enjoy working in a busy team environment. Retail, sales or café experience desirable but not essential as training will be given in house.
