Dudley is currently going through significant transformation and is focussed on working as one ‘Community Council’ which means delivering services in partnership and helping communities to help themselves. This role within the People Directorate provides an exciting opportunity to work across Health and Social care to develop market opportunities to support our ‘Community Council’ vision.
To support the changed legislation relating to the Care Act and the Children and Family Act we are looking for a suitably experienced individual to help us procure and commission services in creative and innovative ways.
Whilst we must be ever conscious of our European, national and regional/sub-regional procurement responsibilities we are also interested in developing creative approaches to put in place a diverse range of local support that meets the needs of the communities that we support.
