Warwickshire Priority Families Programme - Data Analyst (Children and Families)
The Warwickshire Priority Families Programme is responsible for the local delivery of the national Troubled Families Programme. The Programme’s primary aim is to support identified families to make progress in issues around poor educational outcomes; crime and anti-social behaviour; children identified as needing help; financial exclusion and worklessness; domestic violence and abuse; and a range of health problems.
Fixed term contract for twelve months.
The success of the Programme in terms of the identification of families, gaining Payment by Results funding and effective support for local delivery is heavily dependent on the successful management and use of a wide range of data and intelligence sources. Therefore the Priority Families Team is seeking to increase the capacity of its data team to deliver these vital functions. Drawing on a background of data collection, analysis and presentation, gained either through degree-level study or experience in a similar role, you will use your skills to help gather evidence for our families from a range of data sources, map the agencies working with the families and track/monitor their progress. A key part of the role will be to produce and collate the evidence required to support the Payment by Results process and returns to government.
You will be a capable, organised, enthusiastic individual able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. Ideally, you will have some knowledge of the education, children's social care or early help arena, however this is not essential.
You will have an analytical mind, an eye for detail, be an excellent communicator and be able to work with people at all levels, from front line workers to senior managers and Heads of Service.
You will also have extensive experience of the Microsoft Windows environment (particularly MS Word and Excel), and be able to use and manipulate databases and spreadsheets.
