Ambition Coventry is an exciting programme that is ensuring young people in Coventry get the best start in life through high-quality support into job opportunities.

You will deliver a first class service by working with a wide range of partners.You will harness enthusiasm, skills and experience to support young people who are disengaged, or at risk of disengagement, into jobs. At least 2,300 young people will receive personalised support to meet their needs.

We are looking for people who are able to demonstrate that they can work with young people who face real difficulties and disadvantage in life. You will know how to build their confidence so that they can achieve and know how to challenge them when they need to raise their game.

You will engage, motivate and support each person. You will act as a central point of contact and as a critical friend as the young person proceeds through the Ambition Coventry model of Engagement, Transformation and Sustained Participation.

Your work will be target driven and you will need to demonstrate you can achieve outcomes that can get young people into sustained jobs.

Ambition Coventry is a Youth Employment Initiative funded through the European Social Fund

37 hours per week. Flexi Time. This is a fixed term contract until 31 July 2018.
