We are currently recruiting for the role of Climbing Tower Co-ordinator
Full time 37 hours per week - £23,166 per annum
The role of the Co-ordinator will be:
To support the increase in the number of people participating in sport and active recreation in communities across Nuneaton and Bedworth.
To oversee and deliver high quality and fun climbing sessions at community venues, schools, events, clubs and actively engage people of all ages to participate in a safe and friendly environment
You should have a valid level 2 National Governing Body Sports Coaching Qualification and previous climbing experience.
Key aspects of the role will include:
Coordination, delivery and promotion of the NBBC mobile Climbing Tower programme
Supervising and mentoring individuals
Ensuring the safety and control of the climbers and ensure all relevant regulations are enforced
Maintain a good and positive image of the Council
Provide a welcoming, professional and helpful service
The post will require flexibility, working unsociable hours including evenings and weekends. You must be physically able to climb to the top of a mobile climbing tower 7.3 metres high.
