Are you looking for a new challenge?
Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of children & young people in Worcestershire?
This is an exciting opportunity to join Worcestershire County Council’s Children's Residential Service
Worcestershire’s Residential Service provides 35 specialist residential placements for children and young people across Worcestershire. We set very high standards and this is reflected by all of our homes being rated as Outstanding or Good by Ofsted.
We are looking to recruit both full-time and part-time Residential Support Workers across the service and actively encourage individuals with a wide range of experiences, not necessarily in residential care. What we look for is staff with the right values, motivation and commitment to work with children and young people.
If you want to work with a supportive team who really do make a difference to the lives of young people in Worcestershire, then this could be the chance for you to shine. This is a rare opportunity to work for Worcestershire County Council, who recognise the importance of supporting, training and developing the staff who deliver services for children and young people. As well as a competitive salary for this role we offer a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement and childcare vouchers.
