Job Title: Systems and Projects Lead 
Salary: 
    SO1: £28,522 - £30,289 per annum 
    PO1: £32,846 - £35,247 per annum (PO1 available based on pensions professional qualification alongside relevant pensions experience applicable to the role)
35 Hours per Week
Location:  Hybrid working and County Hall, Worcester
Permanent, Full-time

The Role: 

Worcestershire Pension Fund is looking for a System and Project Lead to join and lead our Projects Team.  The System and Project Lead sits within the Membership team and has line management responsibility for a Project Officer and multiple Business Support Officers.  The successful candidate will be leading the Funds System and Projects programme ensuring that the Fund complies with its statutory responsibilities as an administering authority for the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). 

You will support the Head of Pensions Administration in managing the Funds key Projects.  
You will need a strong knowledge of the LGPS and relevant Pensions Administration experience. 
You will be able to lead the development, maintenance and improvement of the Pensions System reviewing quarterly upgrades alongside the Pension Managers.  
You will have had previous experience in leading, or playing a major part, in delivering Projects, and understand the techniques used. 
You will be able to review processes and identify ways in which to improve them through implementing system changes and automation in particular Self Service portals.
