It’s an exciting time for the Council as we embrace new technology, re-think our processes and get ready to move lots of services into a new building.

Our Business Services team is at the heart of things offering support to a range of services on topics as diverse as: Children’s Services, Legal Services, Registrars, Planning and the organisations Post & Print offer and we’re looking for people to support us in delivering a quality professional service.

We’re looking to recruit on a 2 year fixed term contract at the moment while we shape our new service offer.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in then keep reading…

You’ll have guessed from our introduction, we’re changing lots of things at the moment to improve things for our customers and service areas alike and we know that our people are really important to getting things right.

In some of the service areas we are experimenting with how we do things so one of the most important strengths we’re looking for in our people is the willingness to try new things and to help us to change things that don’t work

So, if you care about doing a great job in an administrative setting taking accurate, detailed and comprehensive minutes to support complex case conferences, meetings and social care panels, want to help customers and if you want to join us in shaping Business Services then one of these roles might be just what you’re looking for.

Keen to join the team? Please complete an application form, tell us about your previous experience and where you have used your skills to shine.

The closing date is midnight on the 15th May 2017, we’ll shortlist from there and if you’re successful we’ll invite you to one of our assessment centres which will be held during the week commencing 29th May 2017.

Hours: 27.5 per week (salary will be pro rata)

If you aren’t sure or have some questions we’d be happy to talk to you, call one of the management team on 07908 651 265 for an informal conversation.
