Perton Middle School is situated in the attractive South Staffordshire village of Perton on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. The school is focussed on developing students in years 5,6, 7 and 8 for the next phase of education and adulthood in a secure environment.

Two Teaching Assistant apprentices are required to support pupils, teachers, and the curriculum throughout the school starting in September 2017.

National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage - £3.50 per hour - £105 per week based on 30 hours
30 hours per week, Term-Time only15 months

Training will be carried out by Entrust; Apprentices compile an electronic portfolio of evidence proving evidence of competence, knowledge and understanding. Apprentices will be required to attend one half-day a week at Entrust training centre in Stafford.

* Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Functional Skills Level 1 ICT
* English Level 1 and Maths Level 1 or 2 (if required)
* Employment Rights and Responsibilities
* Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

The contract is a fixed term contract with a start date of 1st September 2017
