British Sign Language Tutor and Support Worker
Grade 9 (£26672 pro rata)
30 hours a week Term Time Only (Includes weekly BSL Classes 4-6 pm)

Required to start as soon as possible a fluent BSL user with experience of working with schools and families is required to join a well-established team.

You will be responsible for developing BSL/SSE skills within the Service. You will work with deaf children, their parents, teachers of the deaf, class and subject teachers in preschool settings, homes, mainstream schools , special schools and units across the City.

• Level 3 BSL qualification is essential.
• Experience of working with deaf children and young people in an educational setting.
• Experience of teaching to BSL Level 2
