Because we are committed to ensuring that the children and young people of Warwickshire receive outstanding social work practice.  We are recruiting more social workers to join our dedicated teams as to reduce caseloads and increase face to face time with families.

We have created this brand new Resourcing Advisor role, as a 6 month opportunity, to project manage and facilitate the recruitment activity associated this critical initiative.

What you will do:

Based in Warwick, your role will be to pro-actively project manage the Childrens and Families Social Care Transformation recruitment initiative, where you’ll have responsibility for delivering the full end to end recruitment process. You’ll have a significant focus on both candidate and stakeholder engagement and management, which means you’ll be developing and delivering highly effective, pro-active communication channels, to achieve a collaborative relationship across the Senior Leadership Team, Operational Management Team, internal and external suppliers and support functions and other key stakeholders

You’ll also support setting up the recruitment process for foster carers, for the service then to continue with as business as usual.

Some of your other key responsibilities will be;

    designing and facilitating training and candidate assessments, as well as job/careers events, delivering interview panels, gathering intelligence from leavers as to why they are leaving and feedback to the service, offering support and guidance in relation to resourcing best practice and legislation creating and analysing service performance data to enhance the recruitment service working with marketing and other key stakeholders to deliver an effective Social Media presence to promote the Childrens and Families Social Care Transformation recruitment, researching, identifying, developing and leading on the implementation of appropriate and cost, effective staff engagement and retention strategies for social care staff.

About you

Awareness of recruitment processes and procedures would be beneficial, but we can teach you that. The key priorities are that you can demonstrate extensive experience of being a strong, proactive relationship builder, with evidence of developing cohesion and collaboration, to ensure things run effectively. You will have examples of the way in which you deliver outstanding customer experience, and operate in line with policy and procedure.

You may have a HR project management background, have been in the Social Care environment in some capacity, and be keen to work on a high profile initiative to drive forward success for the Children and Families of Warwickshire.
