Look no further, we've got some great vacancies for Social Workers in Nuneaton Children’s Services.

37.0 Hours per Week

Joining our established team you  will be providing a social work service to a highly professional standard. Managing a caseload and travelling throughout the county, you’ll be working with children and young people who are subject to Child Protection Plans and Court Proceedings. Undertaking robust Child Protection assessments and completing the required paperwork will also be part of your role. In addition, you’ll be communicating with a wide variety of clients, communities, partners and agencies as well as working on your own initiative, often in pressurised situations.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role it’s important you have a professional Social Work qualification and are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. It’s also important you have strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal and can work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, communities, colleagues and other agencies. With the ability to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure, whilst at all times maintaining composure and your professional stance, you will be used to making difficult decisions. With strong influencing, persuading and resilience you’ll also have child care experience and good IT skills.
