Here in the internal recruitment team at Warwickshire County Council, we have been excitedly celebrating the pregnancy of one of our specialist Senior Resourcing Officers. The time has flown, and we are now looking for the right person to join us to cover her maternity leave, based at our Head Office in Warwick.
What do we do?
Under the innovative and empowering leadership of our Resourcing Manager and Resourcing Advisor, our team of Senior Resourcing Officers use their recruitment expertise to proactively support and advise managers in the creative ways that they can find and recruit the right people. They get involved with things such as recruitment briefings, assessment centre build and facilitation, vetting processes, as well as the design and delivery of training. Our reach is wide; we support the end-to-end recruitment of a huge array of posts, from administrative roles to Social Workers, Firefighters to Strategic Directors.
Our customers are at the heart of all we do. We aim to get our candidates the right job, and the manager the right employee, in the most time efficient and financially optimal way.

The passion you have for your customers places them as your priority focus, meaning you manage your recruitment campaigns in a bespoke way, knowing each and every role is unique. You’ll be inquisitive and enthusiastic about exploring new and cost effective ways to attract the right people and find opportunities to enhance the commerciality of our service.
You’ll be someone who is:
- frequently told how great you are at building and managing relationships,
- always one step ahead with your organisational skills,
- fantastic at problem solving issues that others struggle to.
Successful candidates will be required to apply to become Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) counter signatories. This requires a full criminal history check equivalent to an Enhanced DBS Check.
