The Governing Body and the Senior Leadership Team are seeking to recruit a talented and dedicated SBM to work alongside a very committed team of professionals in leading our organisation. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside us in continuing our journey to convert to an academy as part of a successful and forward-thinking multi-academy trust. You will be well supported by an experienced team of finance and business professionals and will become part of the community of schools that form the City Learning Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Active participation within the school’s SLT
  • Financial planning, budget management and risk management
  • Development and management of Health and Safety procedures
  • Leadership support for the Administrative and Site Teams of the school
  • Management of small capital projects.

The successful candidate will be someone who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator, adaptable to change and able to work under their own initiative as well as within a team. This post may appeal to candidates currently working within an education environment however applications are also strongly encouraged from candidates with transferable skills obtained by working in other sectors.
