Following the promotion of our current Mathematics Leader, Monkspath School is looking to appoint a Mathematics Leader. This post is to start from September 2017.

We are looking for someone who is:

• An outstanding, dynamic classroom practitioner with an excellent understanding of the primary curriculum and how children learn,

• Passionate about providing an engaging and rich learning experience,

• An inspiring teacher able to take responsibility for leading mathematics across the school,

• A colleague with a proven track record of accelerating learning and progress for all children in their class and across the school,

• Proven track record of innovation and leading and developing aspects of school improvement which help to close the gap in progress for all groups of children,

• Able to make a positive impact on teaching and learning within their class and across the whole school especially in Maths,

• Able to lead by example and be a positive role model with a key strength in mathematics,

• Able to be both accountable and responsible for raising standards at whole school level in Maths.

• Aspirational for the outcomes of our pupils and the school as a whole.
