Claims Management Unit - Burton on Trent

Fixed Term Administrator Grade 4

The Claims Management Unit is based at Burton on Trent, and supports the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) with responsibilities for authorisation, monitoring the market and enforcement in relation to the Compensation Act 2006. This Act created the regulatory framework for claims management companies.

We have an Administrator post available, currently on fixed term until 31 March 2019.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our business support team which would suit flexible, pro-active individuals.

You will be responsible for dealing with incoming and outgoing post, booking pool cars, organising meetings, meeting and greeting visitors and inputting and checking data.

Also as part of the role you will be required to do financial transactions such as invoicing and raising purchase orders and handling petty cash.

As part of the team, you will also be required to do health and safety checks around the premise as per Staffordshire County Council health and safety policy. This will involve contacting contractors to arrange site visits and to arrange for general maintenance to be done.

You will need to work well as part of a team, have excellent communication skills and the ability to pay attention to detail in a fast paced environment. You will also have the ability to accurately synthesise information and record data using electronic systems.

For an informal discussion about the work of the unit and the posts please contact Emma Watkins on 01283 881015

To register an interest in the vacancies please send a C.V. with a covering letter [marked confidential], explaining why you believe you would be suitable for one of these posts, to
