The successful candidate will be responsible for all administrative tasks aligned with this position and will therefore needs to have excellent IT skills and a good working knowledge of the mechanism of requesting and processing evidence.

Attendance at PLO family meetings and managing PLO proceedings, including the requesting and commissioning of evidence and the collation and drafting of legal paperwork, to include C110a, threshold and case summary with limited supervision, in the event of issue of subsequent care proceedings.

The role shall also include attendance at strategy meetings as directed by Team Senior Solicitors. The postholder will be expected to undertake legal research as delegated by the Team Senior Solicitor.

The focus of the position is pre proceedings work and therefore the necessity for them to attend court will be minimal as distinct from the Grade 9 post.
