About us

 

Warwickshire County Council continues to expand its workforce to develop our capacity and improve provision and outcomes for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Warwickshire’s SEND Assessment and Review Service (SENDAR) is looking to appoint a SEND Resolution Officer following career progression within SENDAR of our current team member. We can offer you dedicated Business Support, a robust induction, a supportive line management structure and an Agile Working Offer.

 

About the role

 

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. They will be working with families, young people and colleagues across Warwickshire through restorative practice approaches, feeding into the local authority’s current processes and practice to ensure that collaborative working is central to achieving positive outcomes and destinations for our young people with SEND. We are looking to appoint one full time member of staff on a permanent basis to join our dedicated team of EHC Plan Coordinators, Assistant Plan Coordinators, Business Support Officers, Area Leads, Brokerage and SENDAR Delivery Lead.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public
