Teaching Assistant Level 2 (1:1 Support) – Full time / Term Time Only / Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a candidate who can help to ensure children learn well, enjoy their day and will bring a positive, ‘can do’ attitude to our staff team. The children at our school are delightful, they are engaging, enquiring and energetic; we need a candidate who can meet their needs. As this is a 1:1 support role then the applicant for this post would benefit from experience of working with children with autism or have related qualifications.

Milverton Primary School’s wonderful staff team play a vital role in providing children the education and aspirations to achieve their full potential. Our last Ofsted inspection graded us as a securely ‘good’ school in March 2019.

We would encourage you to come and visit the school and see the engaging learning experience that we provide. There are currently 324 children on roll, distributed in eleven classes. Children come from a variety of backgrounds, primarily within Leamington Spa.

The school is very privileged to have an active and committed Governing Body, which plays a very full and positive part in the life and development of the school. Parents are always welcomed into the school to share in the education of their children, and the Friends of Milverton Primary School (FOMPS) arranges a variety of social and fund-raising activities, from which the school has benefited enormously.

We are a happy, positive team who pride ourselves in creating a fantastic learning experience for the children in our care. The successful candidate should share our high standards and child-centred ethos. You can also find out more about us on our website – www.milvertonprimaryschool.co.uk

Milverton Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

The start date of the appointment is 8 January 2024.
The closing date for applications is 23 November 2023.
Interviews will be held on 4 December 2023.
