We are looking for Casual Residential Support Workers to work in our Children's Services based in Stafford and Tamworth. 

If you would like a career working with children this is an ideal opportunity to gain knowledge and experience.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for fun vibrant individuals to help and support young people both who are in care or on the edge of care. You will be required to work directly with the young peoples over the 3 services as and when required dependant on your availability.  You will support them in all areas of their lives, providing a safe, nurturing environment where every day can be different. This role can be both challenging and rewarding and will require a high level of resilience.

The Ideal Candidate

To this role you'll bring

NVQ level 3 in caring for Children or Young People or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

Please note on occasions in residential care there is a need to only accept applicants from a particular protected characteristic.  As per the exception under the Equality Act 2010 there is an occupational requirement for this role to be fulfilled by someone aged 22 years or over.  the reason being that we are legally required to ensure that anyone appointed is at least 4 years older than our oldest resident.  Therefore, we will only be able to progress applications from candidates aged 22 years or over.  Details of the exception can be found at Equality Act 2010 (
