Malvern Hills District Council is a small, progressive local authority, situated in one of the Country's most attractive areas, offering excellent conditions of service and a high quality of life.

To provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement, in order to minimise illegal parking acts through the issue of penalty charge notices in appropriate cases. To carry out patrols of on-street and off-street parking, either individually or as part of a team.

Willingness to work outside normal hours, available for work at weekends, Bank Holidays early mornings and late evenings as requested. Car driver and owner with the ability to travel around the district to undertake duties. Willingness to work outdoor in all weathers. Knowledge of the parking industry would be desirable but not essential. Have a flexible approach to work and undertake other duties as may be reasonably required.

Ability to relate to the public, to deal with confrontation and have attention to detail. Experience of working within a customer service environment. Good standard of education with numeracy and literacy skills, ability to use IT equipment and software.
