Job Title: Client Support Worker

Salary: £21,968 pro rata (Approx NJC Scale 3.6) Pay rise pending in April 2024

The charity endeavours to track NJC pay scales but cannot guarantee to do so

Pension: Employee contributions 4%, Employer’s contribution 6%

Hours: 15 per week (preferably spread over five days but this is 

negotiable)

Holiday: 29 days plus statutory holidays pro rata per year

Location: Hybrid working from your home address and our office in Digbeth, Birmingham; split to be agreed with your line manager

Responsible to: The manager of ASCE

Like all our salaried posts, this is a permanent role but it is always subject to funding being available.

This post is subject to a six month probationary period.

Job Description

Aim:

To support the ASCE team and trustees in the delivery of the organisation’s charitable objects by following up our service users at regular intervals by telephone and email to offer ongoing support,  and by helping the team to contact and support our bereaved service users.

Core Tasks:

  • To keep track of and follow-up existing service users by making contact at regular intervals and ascertaining any additional support they might need To help the administrator to keep track of and follow up our bereaved service users and provide assistance to our bereavement support group To assist the manager, administrator and other team members with occasional special events Any other duties as directed from time to time by the manager
