Our new Headteacher will have the highest ambitions for our children. They will be an outstanding leader and a great communicator, have real leadership skills and a clear vision for excellent Christian education.  They will appreciate the benefits of working with a supportive team of staff, governors and parents. They will be committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children, staff and the wider school community. As Headteacher, they will also enjoy working closely with other schools within our academy trust, learning from and sharing best practice.

Stretton St Matthew’s is a one form entry Church of England primary school situated in the village of Stretton, Warrington. The school is in a lovely semi-rural setting next to St Matthew’s Church, surrounded by fields, farms and local community amenities. Our pupils benefit from high quality facilities both inside school and in the extensive school grounds.
