We are seeking an experienced manager to lead our Private Sector Housing team.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in private sector housing services. The post is directly responsible for the Private Sector Housing team and an energy efficiency team working across Nuneaton and Bedworth and North Warwickshire Councils.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of Private Sector Housing implementing national legislative changes that are expected to improve the private rented sector.
Currently we are delivering a 2 year project under HUG2 following our successful previous projects.to improve home energy efficiency and we have ambitions for you to innovate and develop the services and projects within the team.
You will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and caring service to NBBC and NWBC residents.
The ability to actively network and develop partnerships with internal and external agencies is essential across the shared services.
You will be required to
To manage service delivery and review service standards, quality, and performance targets for the Private Sector Housing Team.
Ensure comprehensive Private Sector Housing and relevant aspects of Environmental Health legislation is delivered in the shared services area, being responsible for development and implementation of policies, procedures, strategies, initiatives systems and guidance.
To be responsible for the policy, income and recovery of fees relating to all potential licensing schemes, enforcement fees and penalty notices. Responsible for the proper policy development and systems to ensure proportionate and robust recovery of charges and income. Responsible for ensuring compliance with fee income legislation and guidance.
