HR Systems Improvement Manager - Ref: RT10323

£44,539 - £49,590 per annum (pay award pending)

1 permanent full-time post

Reporting into the Head of HR (Strategic HRM), this critical role will work with colleagues across HR and other relevant functions, to provide fit for purpose HR systems, building on the recent introduction of the Council’s new ERP system (Oracle) One Source.

What Will You Be Doing?

Championing One Source across the organisation, but to further develop the offer by redesigning some of the practices and processes used in the service, with a view to enhancing the HR, Payroll, Finance, and customer experience.

Engaging with service users from all departments and at levels of the organisation, including colleagues from HR, Payroll and Finance and document the day-to-day concerns and issues, while working with system suppliers to find solutions and make/recommend improvements.

Involved in projects at all levels from discovery sessions to gather requirements, through to documenting these, designing and implementing new processes and ways of working, through to tracking, monitoring, and reporting on projects.

Finding solutions to provide relevant data reports that enable HR to effectively manage the workforce.

About You

You should have a degree, relevant professional qualification, or equivalent experience. We want somebody that is an excellent negotiator, collaborator, and influencer, with excellent payroll and systems knowledge for Oracle Fusion (One Source).

Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential as you will be frequently using the full range of applications.
