The Transport Operations Team is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our unique and dynamic team of highly motivated professionals to assist with the effective operation and delivery of the Concessionary Fares Scheme, other Public Transport Ticketing Schemes and Home to School Transport provision, ensuring the authority’s statutory duties are met.
The department plays an integral part of the Council’s Regulatory Service’s ensuring essential services are provided to its vulnerable citizens.
The Ticketing Coordinator will assist in the day to day management of ticketing initiatives, assist in calculating reimbursement to operators, provide administration functions to the team including pass issuing and prepare monitoring reports to the Team Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of Government policies relating to concessionary fare schemes and local policies relating to transport ticketing initiatives.
They will need experience of working with third parties and have the ability to interpret data and carry out calculations.
The candidate will need to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and have a commitment to the delivery of an excellent customer service.
