Learning Mentor
Values Academy is a charity which runs independent schools for young people aged 11-19 in Birmingham and Nuneaton. Our mission is to improve quality of life for young people through values-based education. Since 2009 we have been supporting pupils who have special educational needs or emotional, behavioural and social difficulties to achieve academic results while learning the values to build character.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed 2 Learning mentors to join our Nuneaton School.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with behavioural difficulties, preferably in a school environment and implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour in order to maximise the achievements and wellbeing of students.
The successful candidate will be fully supported in their career and professional development through CPD and a commitment to supporting up to date training and development needs.
The role is offered on a Fixed term contract up until 31st August 2024 based on 26 hours per week at Nuneaton and is a term time position. Learning Mentors are not expected to work during the school holidays.
