Cedars School is an 11 – 16 year maintained Short Stay School with planned places for 66 pupils across two sites. The school serves students from the double district of Newcastle under Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands offering educational pathways to those not in attendance at maintained schools.

The school has exemplary relationships with other schools, colleges and training providers. We work with external agencies and Universities to support a range of individuals including trainee teachers, social workers and mental health workers.

Our ethos centres on providing hope and opportunities for pupils to aspire and learn both academically and behaviourally and to make progress.

The Management Committee are looking to appoint an inspirational and imaginative Headteacher to lead our school into the future.
