Teaching Assistant Grade 2

Start date:   1st December 2023 or as close to this as possible

20 hours per week - Availability to work is required Monday-Friday between 8.45 a.m. and 3.20 p.m.

This position is permanent and it is essential that those applying for this role are able to start as soon as possible.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a caring and positive teaching assistant, who is hard-working, patient and highly motivated who will be required to work across school.  You must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal; have a real interest and commitment to support the development of the whole child and support the learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs of individuals and small groups of pupils through the delivery of intervention programmes as required.         

You will be required to work under the instruction and guidance of the class teacher and SEND Co-ordinator to undertake support work in and out of the classroom for all areas of learning in order to enable individuals and groups of pupils to access the curriculum and to make good progress.  Previous experience of working with pupils with educational needs, would be an advantage.
