Specialist Senior Educational Psychologists
Soulbury Scale B, points 1-4 plus up to 3 SPA
Warwickshire Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a community focussed service, which strives for inclusion by removing barriers. We have continued to grow and further develop our offer and have maintained our well-founded reputation for supporting settings and other services. We have developed innovative ways of delivering support to parents/carers, children/young people, schools and other settings and continue to focus on gaining positive outcomes for Warwickshire’s children, young people and families.
We are looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and creative Specialist Senior EPs with a minimum of three years’ experience to work collaboratively with our leadership team and wider partners. We are seeking to fulfil specialist roles in the areas of SEMH, Early Years and Preparing for Adulthood. The post holder will also have a patch of schools.
We are a large, vibrant and strong service of over forty EPs. Each team is led by a Senior Educational Psychologist. The breadth and range of work undertaken across the service is hugely varied. We contribute and take a lead in a range of strategic initiatives within the Local Authority such as:
- Senior Mental Health Lead Training
- Attachment Aware and Trauma Informed Schools Projects
- Emotional Based School Avoidance Pathway
- Building Inclusive Schools Project
- Literacy for All Project

We can offer a range of generic and specialist work within the 0-25 age range in all types of educational setting. We have very successfully developed a range of flexible working practices and all EPs are issued with a Surface Pro to support this.

Key Skills and Experience: We need motivated, enthusiastic, skilled, creative and successful EPs able to improve outcomes for children, young people and families through individual, group, and system level activity, and through research and project work. You need to be a reflective practitioner, resilient, solution orientated, and an excellent communicator. You must be HCPC registered. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
