Lunchtime Supervisor
10 hours 25 minutes per week
Term time only
Grade: G2 – SCP 2-4
Salary Range: £4,951.39 - £5,132.55
Please note this salary is based on a start date of September 2023 as such your actual salary is dependent on your start date and will need to be recalculated once all clearances are in place and a start date has been agreed.
Two hours and five minutes per day, five days per week, term time only.
Oakwood School is a school for children with severe learning needs (SLD) and profound and multiple learning needs (PMLD).
We are looking to employ a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. The successful applicant will be required to help with 1:1 feeding and supervision in the classroom, and dining room over the lunchtime period, playground duties and returning pupils to class as well as other duties deemed necessary.
Applicants will uphold and work to the whole school safeguarding policies to ensure the safety of all pupils at lunchtimes.
Applicants must be able to relate well to children and be sympathetic to our children’s special educational needs.
Oakwood School is highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure check along with relevant employment/online checks.
These will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions as part of the recruitment process. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Shortlisted candidates will also be asked to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children
