Job Details

Brockmoor Primary School are looking to appoint a Higher level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with experience of supporting children with SEND.

We are a two-form entry school, catering for pupils from 3-11 years old. The school is situated within the borough of Dudley, in the heart of the Black Country.

We have served the local community since 1887 and many families have attended the school for several generations. Brockmoor is an area that faces many challenges for its young people but equally demonstrates a strong community spirit. The pupils, parents and staff are justly proud of our diverse heritage.

Brockmoor has a strong sense of inclusion and our parents, pupils, governors, partners and staff work together, forming a vital part of our school community. We put our children at the heart of everything we do and are dedicated to providing them with a school environment in which they are safe, happy and learning.

Hours: 32.50 per week, term time only

Salary: Grade 7

The successful candidate:

- will be Empathetic, dedicated, and passionate

- will have HLTA status or proven experience

- will have experience working with the primary curriculum

- will have a good understanding of the English language

All staff in school will be expected to accept reasonable flexibility in working arrangements and the allocation of duties in pursuance of raising pupil achievement.
