We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and hardworking professional with a desire to work in a successful, thriving school making a positive contribution to our SEND team as a learning mentor.
We welcome applications from candidates who have experience of working with ASD students or a strong interest in specialising with ASD pupils across key stages 3 and 4. Training will be provided to support this aspect of the role.
The successful candidate will:
- support ASD students and deliver bespoke intervention as required be supporting teaching and learning within the classroom have a good understanding of how children can learn and develop an effective team member and show initiative be able to communicate confidently and effectively children, staff and parents run break and lunchtime supervision of identified SEND students lead a break and lunch time club in the library be passionate about improving outcomes for all our students be flexible in your approach to work, adapting to new challenges support the ethos and vision of the school
